Andy McDonald is the UK Head of Real Estate Finance at HSBC.  He has over 20 years’ experience in structured finance banking and has been working in real estate for more than 15 years. Andy spent much of his career at Barclays specialising in loan origination, structuring and servicing latterly responsible for leading the Real Estate Debt Structuring business before joining HSBC in Feb-21. In May-22, Andy took leadership of the Real Estate Finance business at HSBC UK with responsibility for the oversight of a >£20bn loan portfolio encompassing all real estate asset classes.
