We have a meeting to discuss UK and EU CMBS regulatory developments this afternoon (as publicised here), and are finalising our submissions to the Prudential Regulation Authority regarding the UK’s Basel 3.1 implementation proposals for submission by Friday’s deadline.
On the sustainability side of things, we are currently reviewing and commenting on financial aspects covered by a report of the Circular Buildings Coalition about the built environment (previously reported here), and we’re fast approaching the final meeting of the EEFIG Energy Efficiency First working group, to whose work and final report we have contributed from the real estate lending perspective. We have also just joined the UK government’s energy efficiency taskforce working group on commercial buildings, with a first meeting coming up this week.
