Introducing the CREFC Europe Mentorship Scheme 2024!
This year, we're making a change. While still partnering with AREF, we're hosting the scheme on our own websites instead of the third-party platform we used last year, to make it more flexible and easier to manage for everyone.
Programme Details
- Your firm must be a CREFC Europe member or AREF member in order for you to participate in the Mentorship Programme. Not a member? Apply today.
- The scheme has now launched and will allow registered mentees to request connections with registered mentors. The roster of available mentors may change as some get booked up and new ones join; we will also be able to continue to accept new mentees.

What to expect?
It will be for mentor/mentee pairs to agree goals and define expectations for the relationship, including whether to make the connection a one-off or long-term relationship, and what to aim to accomplish together or learn from each other.
Career advice may be offered, but mentors are not responsible for helping mentees with job searches. The programme should not be used for sales or recruitment.
Upon registering your interest, we'll reach out to:
- Confirm or create your biography.
- Understand your preference regarding the number of connections you are interested in making.
All mentor bios will be showcased on a dedicated Mentorship webpage on our site, visible to mentees. Mentees can browse through the bios and choose a mentor to connect with. We will facilitate the connection, but once a mentor/mentee pair are in touch, it will be for you to schedule one or more meetings at your convenience.
Mentor availability will be shown depending on their status, subject to change.

- Coffee meeting to start your day
- Attend a CREFC Europe or other industry or philanthropic event together – learn more about a popular topic and have a discussion afterwards and/or network with others in the industry
- Share and discuss timely articles
- Practice an elevator pitch or do a mock interview
