As previously advertised, we are considering re-launching a forum for COOs. This is following a few conversations with members who have expressed interest. The forum would provide an opportunity for COOs to connect with each other regularly and exchange ideas, experiences and practices in an informal setting (NB the COO role can be wide ranging and encompassing a number of areas, so the forum would be relevant to individuals with roles that include operations, finance, IT, compliance and risk management).
Topics for discussion will be set by the group and we would look to invite guest speakers on relevant issues. At this stage, suggested topics include: data transparency, operational implications of regulation (e.g. reporting), use of IT and AI, investor reporting, use of offshoring, etc. If you are interested in participating in this forum, please email David.
