Another update on the joint BoE/FCA “Transforming Data Collection” transformation programme was published last week (available here). We have been among those interviewed by EY, who are conducting the data standards review element, to discuss data standards from the point of view of our market.
At the invitation of Bank officials, we have also been encouraging firms in our network who currently fall outside the BoE/PRA regulatory perimeter to consider speaking with officials who want to understand such firms’ data and reporting systems, practices, capabilities and constraints as they think about how to address current regulatory blind spots.
