International Women’s Day Celebration – Breakfast & Discussion – #EmbraceEquity

Location: 33 King William Street, London, EC4R 9AT

International Women’s Day (8th March) is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women.  This year’s theme is #EmbraceEquity.

Embrace – to willingly and enthusiastically accept, adopt, and espouse.
Equity – the quality of being fair and impartial.

The CREFCE Women’s Committee are delighted to invite you to an in-person celebration which will start with a networking breakfast hosted by Wells Fargo, followed by a conversation amongst industry participants on “How to #EmbraceEquity in the workplace”.

The group will share their insights on what equity means for them, why it needs to be part of every society’s DNA and discuss how we can all challenge gender stereotypes, call out discrimination, draw attention to bias, and together grow inclusion in our industry.

The event will be co-hosted by Nicola Free and Margot Waddup from Wells Fargo, who will be joined by Petrina Austin, Partner, Head of Asset Management, Tritax Group, Emma Matebalavu, Partner, Global Head of Global Financial Markets, Clifford Chance, Gregor Bamert, Head of Real Estate Debt, Aviva Investors and Nim Sivakumaran, Managing Director, European Securitised Products Group, Morgan Stanley.
