Ben Whittington is an Associate at Knight Frank within the Real Estate Finance team with nearly 8 years’ experience in the profession. He studied an RICS accredited degree at the University of Portsmouth before joining as a Graduate Surveyor at Avison Young whereby he completed his Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) and became a Registered Valuer. Ben is responsible for carrying out valuations for a range of commercial property across London and the South East for loan security, acquisition and accounts purposes. As well as continuing to value conventional commercial assets, Ben has also been heading up the open storage valuation team, in what has become an exciting and emerging market. In 2022, Ben was recognised and won the KF Valuation & Advisory department’s Rising Star Award.
Ben has been on the YPREF Core Committee for over 2 years and has helped to organise and attend YPREF events. In particular, he has organised and hosted the annual YPREF Quiz which boasts over 120 participants and raises significant amounts for charity. He is passionate about encouraging and supporting young professionals in the industry and has recently sat on a YPREF Future Leaders panel to further promote the profession to aspiring university students.
