Within Wells Fargo's Commercial Real Estate team Mala is responsible for originating new business and managing private and public institutional lending relationships. Prior to that Mala spent 10 years at RBS (now NatWest) working in the investment bank's real estate finance team and then latterly the restructuring division.
Mala has a BSc (Hons) in Maths & Management from Kings College London. Mala is passionate about change across many diversity dimensions but specifically ethnicity, gender and social mobility.
Mala is a member of the CREFCE DE&I committee, a Race at Work champion at Wells Fargo, a mentor in Wells Fargo's Women's Network and previously a mentor with Career Ready too. As a British Asian female Mala is passionate about career progression and managing the challenges of working in the real estate sector from the lens of a female ethnic minority.
