Reena is Assistant Legal Counsel on the Real Estate desk at Cheyne Capital. Cheyne has provided financing solutions since 2009 and now manages approximately £4 billion of assets across direct real estate lending, securitised European real estate debt and selective special situations, including impact real estate investing in affordable and specialist housing.
Prior to joining Cheyne in 2020, Reena spent over 4 years in private practice in the Real Estate Finance department at Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner LLP, where she also trained. Here, Reena worked on all aspects of real estate finance including senior and mezzanine finance, investment and development finance and acted for alternative lenders, clearing banks and sponsors. Reena was seconded to the Abu Dhabi office, as well as to the Real Estate and Housing Team at Lloyds Bank.
Reena studied BA French at The University of Birmingham and studied for her law degree at The College of Law, Birmingham.
