As previously advised, our next CREFC Europe Seminar / ISE collaboration will be held in Frankfurt on the afternoon and evening of Thursday, 8 May 2025.
CREFC Europe Seminar: This will take place at King & Spalding’s Frankfurt Headquarters in the TaunusTurm. Please arrive from 15:00 for initial networking, the formal session will begin at 16:00.
Peter Cosmetatos (CREFCE) and Sebastian Kaufmann (K&S) will provide an introduction to the use of back leverage in the CRE financing market before Andreas opens up the discussion. If we have time, we will also compare notes about the CRE financing market more generally, with a focus on the impact of Basel III / CRR through “property value” and minimum floors.
Site visit: Details to follow, but as in 2024 and 2023, we hope to arrange a tour of an interesting building in central Frankfurt between the CREFC Europe seminar and the networking drinks.
