In 2019 we launched a group to look at the financing aspects of senior living. It is co-chaired by Aparna Sehgal, Dechert and David Dahan at the secretariat.
Its initial focus has been to create a due diligence checklist specifically for the financing of the development of unassisted and limited assistance senior living accommodation (Integrated Retirement Communities, as defined by ARCO). The checklist can be found here.
The group then turned its attention to care homes and has now developed a due diligence checklist of this sub-segment. The checklist can be found here.
