Stefanie Hanstveit is a Director within Wells Fargo’s Real Estate Syndicated Finance team with over 20 years of real estate finance experience.  She is responsible for assessing underwrite risk and managing/effecting the sell down process through the syndication of UK and Irish loans to a variety of national and international bank and non-bank lenders.  She supports the bank’s Commercial Real Estate, Hotel Finance, Manufactured Housing and Specialty Finance Groups in underwriting large loans for Wells Fargo customers.
 

Stefanie is an Honorary Lifetime Member of the Association of Property Lenders (APL), a member of the Investment Property Forum (IPF), and Women in Banking and Finance (WIBF).  Stefanie is passionate about improving gender diversity in the commercial real estate and financial services industry and currently chairs the CREFC Europe’s Women’s Network and continues to be involved in Wells Fargo’s Women’s Network.  Stefanie is a 2019 Wells Fargo Golden Spokes Award Winner and a 2021 WIBF Award Winner for progressing gender balance within her organisation and the financial services industry.
 

Stefanie joined Wells Fargo in August 2013, having worked previously within the Syndicated Finance team at Hypothekenbank Frankfurt and Eurohypo.  Prior to joining Eurohypo in July 2007, Stefanie worked at IKB Deutsche Industriebank during which she was based in Frankfurt, Duesseldorf and finally London. Stefanie holds a degree in Engineering (specialising in Civil Engineering and Economics) gained at the Technical University Carolo Wilhelmina in Braunschweig, Germany.
